always save your money order stubs or check receipts in case if the mail fails to be delivered. but I would think that most of those things take up to a month maybe more.

I would write snail mail and find out the source of what happened. Those money orders, and checks are traceable, but most of those things, like I stated take a few weeks.

Wow, I guess it depends on when you bought them. If you bought them, say yesterday, than I wouldn’t be overly concerned. I’m also sure that they have a paid office supervisor somewhere just waiting on this type of scenario.

If you ordered your tickets through Ticketmaster as I did, you have to print them off yourself – they are not sent out.
By the way, I booked tickets for the Sunday well in advance and I am really really disappointed by the line-up – or lack of – for this day. All the big names seems to be on every other day bar this one!! I’m travelling up from South Wales especially for this event so it’s going to be a poor show and a waste of money if the day isn’t what I expected after all the hype.
I hope you get your tickets Sandy.

    Hi Carolyn,

Please don’t worry, Sunday looks set to be a fantastic day to be at the Garden Party. I am sure you won’t feel that you’ve missed out – we have a great line-up and there will be lots to see in the royal gardens. We’re hoping the sun will be shining too.

Thank you for your support for Start and the Garden Party by coming up from South Wales – we hope you have a fabulous day.

    The Start team.

First Day 8th Sept. All staff smiling and helpful. Exhibit staff friendly and could answer
most questions. Exhibits interesting and well spaced out althouth B&Q advertising sickeningly ‘in your face’ (2/10) as we entered Clarence House garden. More subtle advertising, such as the logo on the orange staff aprons, so much less intrusive (7/10) Otherwise gardens are a lovely setting for the exhibits.(10/10) Horrid smell of burning flesh and lots of smoke at about 1130 turned out to be a hog roast on a spit in full view on drive between Clarence and Marlborough Hse. (0/10) Ironic at this event, with meat production so un-eco.. Sun came out at lunch time and livened up the entire venue (10/10) Hardly any children at all, although there were at least 5 activities specifically for children. Would suit children over 5 yrs. Farmers market interesting, but how to carry food shopping home? You’d need a shopping trolley, but they were converted into wierd eco-chairs with cushions. The lavatories were appalling. As stinky as the worst.(0/10) Why? Does eco have to rhyme with stinko? The vertical vegetable garden idea was marvelous.About 6 varieties of lettuce, ready to eat, were growing out of an old door leaning against a wall. (10/10) The house and inbuilt furniture constructed out of old pallets was ingenious. Especially the use of 4″ bamboo for the gutters and downpipes. What a brilliant example of eco 10/10. We say “Out with plastic–in with bamboo!” Food at venue so expensive (5/10). Tea good (8/10). Red Cross tent great, imaginative, interesting and appealing 10/10)
Whole event 8/10. Loos 1/10 (1 because you could sort of flush them with what looked like a recycled morris minor stick shift up on the shelf with the handbasin, but then couldn’t wash hands properly afterwards errgh)
All in all though, it was a good day out, and we did learn a thing or two, for example 70,000 Litres of rain water per year washes off the roof of the average 3-bedroom UK house… Would I recommend the event to a friend? Yes.

Sandy, I have tickets for Friday afternoon and all day Sunday (but I believe they are no longer timed entry which is great!) My Friday tickets finally arrived yesterday (Wednesday) but the Sunday ones are still “on their way”. However a jolly lady at Ticketmaster has arranged for duplicates to be at the box office for collection on Sunday if they still don’t arrive before I leave tomorrow. Give them a call with your reference number to hand, and they will sort it out. Their customer service number is 0844 499 9999. See you there!!!
